Interested members of the public are invited to attend our meetings. Kiwanis is a community-based civic service organization that focuses on serving children in the Orting School District. Part of a world-wide service organization, Kiwanis' mission is "to change the world one child at a time." Our club brings a reading program into the Orting Primary and Intermediate school through book give-aways and works at local community events, such as the Eagles' Community 4th of July celebration and the Communities in Schools Spring Resource Fair. Money raised through fundraisers support the Orting Middle School library and an annual scholarship awarded to a graduating senior from Orting High School. |
