 The Orting Pumpkin Fest was a great success this past weekend with sunny weather and a healthy turnout. The Chamber of Commerce hosted a booth with member business information and a Pumpkin Putt fundraiser with prizes contributed by the Lions Club. They also sold daffodil bulbs to help raise funds for the Orting Daffodil float. Executive Director Rhonda Madison staffed the booth and member volunteers included Steve Rodrigues of Baxter-Hobart, Krista Butler of Metlife Home Loans, Debbie Klingenberg of Traditional Moments Event Planning and Pam Giles of Liquid Assets Accounting. The Great Pumpkins photo board was painted by local artist OCC member Madeline Jones.  |
